Using Google Keyboard/Gboard

1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon > Settings then tap ‘Language & input’ or ‘Language & keyboard’.
    For Oreo OS, navigate: Apps icon > Settings > System > Languages, input & gestures.
    For Samsung devices on Oreo OS, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen then navigate: Settings > General management > Languages and input.
    For Pie OS, swipe up from the home screen then navigate: Settings > System > Languages & keyboard, input & gestures.
2. From the On-screen keyboard, tap Google Keyboard/Gboard.
    Google Keyboard/Gboard is pre-installed on some devices, or download and install the app from the Google Play Store by searching for ‘Gboard’.
3. Tap Preferences.
4. Tap the Voice input key switch to turn on or off.

If your device doesn’t offer these steps, use Google Keyboard/Gboard to manage voice input.

   • Tap <device name> keyboard then tap the Google voice typing key switch to turn on or off.
