How to add synonyms to google custom search (Easy guide)

In this article, we will see how to add synonyms to google custom search with the help of an example. In this example, I have created a custom search engine on LinkedIn for search user profiles. Synonyms are ways to tell the search engine that two search terms are similar. For example (hr is equivalent to the human resource)

Steps To add synonyms

1. Go to https://cse.google.com
2. Go to search features-> Synonyms.
3. Click add->
4. Under search term-> enter hr
5. Under Synonyms-> enter human resource-

Now you can see that for the search query hr you can see results that contain the term “human resource“
