In this article, we will see how to create a custom search results page in wordpress.

Steps to create Results

1. Install WP fastest site search plugin. Link-  https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-fastest-site-search/
2. Go to https://cse.expertrec.com/?platform=wordpress
   1. Login with your Gmail id.
   2. Enter your wordpress website URL.
   3. Enter your wordpress sitemap URL. ( if you do not have one, create a sitemap using the Yoast plugin)
   4. Wait for the crawl to complete.
   5. Copy-paste your API key (or) site ID in your expertrec plugin (in wordpress admin panel).
   6. Now search must be live on your wordpress website.
3. You can edit your search results page by going to your expertrec control panel. (https://cse.expertrec.com/)
   1. The search results page looks like this.
   2. Navigate to look and feel-> search results.
   3. You can edit the-
      1. Search title styling
      2. Search title highlighting.
      3. Search image styling.
      4. Search result text snippet.
      5. Search result text snippet- highlight.
      6. Search result box
      7. Search result box hover.
