How to enable search promotions in google custom search using regex

Steps to enable search promotions in google custom search using regex

1. Go to https://cse.google.com/
2. Go to search features-> promotions.
3. Toggle enable promotions to ON.
4. Click on Add promotion.
5. Enter the queries for which you want the promotion to trigger. ( you can use regex matches for example all searches beginning with the custom search you can use the regex match (custom search)*
6. Enter a title for your promotion.
7. Enter your promotion URL.
8. Enter your promotion description.
9. Enter the thumbnail URL.
10. Click enable.
11. Now lets go to the custom search engine we created and check if the promotion is triggering or not for the search query “custom search”.
