I would recommend first copy the HTML code and paste the tag <ci-search></ci-search>. After that, you should copy the other code and follow the process. I can assure you won’t miss any code in this way.
It is perfectly alright if your mind is thinking about fixing the issue asap. The Wix search bar is not working while doing this code copy paste. Hey, I understand. That’s why I am with you. You can resolve the Wix search bar issue. As a result, you can get an awesome search bar to show the result specially customized for your site.

Step 3 | Click Dashboard -> Settings -> (drag down) Advanced -> Custom Code

Open your Wix site. You can do it by logging in to your Wix account. After you are logged in, if you are into Wix ADI, it would show the Site option at the right top, and you can simply click on it to open your dashboard.

Open dashboard in Wix Adi by click on site menu to add custom code

If you are working on Wix editor, click on the Settings option at the top left of the editor and click on it to get a drag-down menu that would appear, and at the bottom of this menu, click on the My Dashboard section. After all, it is not a good option to switch back to ADI when you can get the task done being in the Wix editor.
